Yesterday’s presentation of the designated washer princess and designated LiKüRa princess in Beuel’s town hall could not have been nicer for all revellers. Carina Pütz was introduced as LiKüRa Princess Carina I. The 23-year-old will be accompanied in the session by her pages Julia Pütz and Ann-Celine Folde. Their session motto for Ludwig van Beethoven’s upcoming birthday is:
“Im Beethovenjohr sin mer jeck wie nieck wie nie, darum schrieve mer in LiKüRa die 11. January 2020 to ask each session president for a grade. So she would like to celebrate the 11. Symphony and we can all be curious to see how it will sound.
The people of Beuel Weiberfastnacht introduced the designated washer princess Romina Markmann. The 22-year-old, who started her carnival career in 2005 at her Schutztruppe, the Beuel city soldiers, was appointed “noch net ävve dann” Wäscherprinzessin yesterday evening with the sash. In the sash, she will master all performances until her proclamation on 17.1.2029.

Romina celebrates her session accompanied by her two washerwomen Lena Obliers and Sabrina Michels. Their motto also highlights the 250th birthday of our city’s most famous son and reads: “Beule Wieve klassically jeck, with Beethoven he on every corner”. Yesterday evening, the two madmen, who already know each other from the 2016/17 session, in which they were on the road as page Carina and washerwoman Romina, celebrated together with many jesters and their predecessors. LiKüRa Julia I. and washer princess Ariane I. said goodbye yesterday evening and are now feverishly looking forward to the next session with the designated madness.
District Mayor Guido Déus and Obermöhn Ina Harder also presented an excellent supporting program with Liselotte Lotterlappen and the band “Boore” as a musical highlight.
